Celebrating Caleb!

17 years ago God blessed us with a baby boy! What a joy and gift he is. This August he will enter his Senior year of high school. I'm cherishing each day.
God has truly blessed Scott and I with amazing children. We love you, Caleb. Happy Birthday!

Blessings...

I am so blessed! I am blessed to have an amazing husband who is also my very best friend. I have been blessed with 3 awesome kids. I am blessed with health, a home to lay my head down at night, a car to drive, a wonderful job that I LOVE, and an amazing God who loves me unconditionally. He has also blessed me with some awesome friends.
My very best ones came to visit me again this past weekend. We get together annually (if not more often) here in Charlotte and I try to spoil the mess out of them. We drank at least 15 cups of coffee each over a 3 day period, ate some great food (if I should say so myself :), shopped, watch movies, and even enjoyed a wonderful almond peach facial (see picture above)! These girls know me through and through...and still love me! I'm thankful that no matter the miles, we are still only a phone call away.

If it just weren't for the heat!
Trying to steal every free moment we can with the kids schedule. Our first "one day of vacation" was to the water park in Greensboro. A perfect day...perfect weather.

Father's Day weekend we spent at a nearby lake. Again, perfect weather and some great relaxation. Time to play games and do lots of reading. It's been a great start to our summer.

They are gone!!!!

After 3 years, the braces have come off. Caleb has been extremely patient (considering that he was told last spring that he would have them taken off last summer).

And just in time: his Senior portraits are being taken a week from today!

Celebrating Lindsay!

20 years ago today our middle child was born...Lindsay Nicole!


It has been a blessing to watch her mature into such a beautiful young lady.


I thank God every day for the children He has blessed me with. I am so undeserving to have 3 children who love the Lord, remain pure, and continue to honor us in every way.


We love you, Lindsay! Today is all about YOU!!!!!!
